David A. Williams was an assistant judge sitting on the superior court of Lamoille County, Vermont. He was elected in 2006 and re-elected on November 2, 2010, to a four-year term that began on February 1, 2011, and ended on January 31, 2015.[1][2][3]
Education
Williams earned a B.A. in English literature at Williams College in 1964. He received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1968.[4]
Career

- 1972-2006: Co-owner, Williams and Green, P.C., Morrisville, Vermont
- 1968-1972: Attorney in private practice, Rochester, New York
Williams also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in law-related topics at the Rochester Institute of Technology, the Community College of Vermont and Johnson State College.[4][5]

2010 election
Williams won in the primary election with 64.4 percent of the votes. He then won the superior court seat (along with Karen Bradley) with 52.49 percent of the vote in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][6]
