Education

Acker received his undergraduate degree in finance and business administration from Duquesne University in 1974 and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1977.[2]

Career

Acker is an attorney in private practice who focuses on civil and criminal law. He was an assistant public defender in Lawrence County from 1980 to 1986.[3]
