I am a long time resident and business owner. I believe we can do better for our community and our children. I have spent my life paying it forward. I feel that being a team player we can do great things for our city. Raising my family has given me a better understanding of how to love unconditional, being a business owner has taught me to understand and nurturing my employees to become a close knit team. Moving here back in 1971 this area has changed and evolved but at the same time we have not moved forward but went backwards. Now we have the tools to step into the future but we have to with a purpose. We have to accept change and weather the storm but together we will get through it.
  • Transparency, I feel we need to trust our leaders. They have made us loose that trust in them by being shady and never accepting fault. The buck stops with me I will be your elected official and I will answer to you.
  • Fighting for our children they are our future. I will always fight for our kids. School safety, child bullying, CRT. These will be my priorities
  • Better mental screening, we need more professionals to help us better manage this issue that is crippling our society. We need to help mentally disturbed individuals are showing signs of being troubled.
I love helping children enjoy being on this earth. Now that I’m a grandparent I understand even more that they are the number one priority because they are our future. So child welfare is very important to me. I also believe that we need to give them every opportunity and resource we can give them.
I was raised by my grandmother and I miss her dearly everyday. She was my rock that kept me grounded when I was younger.
Also my uncle John who thought me how to run a business correctly and successfully.
Life is my book. The Bible is the best book. And family is the best way I can describe my philosophy.
Transparency, accountability, integrity, are the big 3 in my book.
My business background working on large budgets, balancing my budget running day to day projects,. Running a hospital and civic organizations has also given me the knowledge to work with volunteers find solutions out of problems, work with all individuals to be a team. Being a good listener and being able to accept fault are what I possess and be a husband and father complete the
To work for the community first. Our kids are 6he core to being on any school board. To listen to all parties involved and be open to work for the common good. Look out for foolish spending and get a balanced budget.
Child safety is a key factor. And be a advocate for teachers and staff.
That I did everything I could to leave this world a better place.
Ran my car customizing company in 1989 for 3 years Odyssey Graphics then sold it.
Jack Nicklaus golf my way. He’s the best.
Making time for more things. Spending more time with my family. I’m very driven in what I do.
To properly ensure the proper spending is accurate and accountable. Put proper safeguards in place to protect our children. Listen to our parents and families to understand there needs and there complaints.
Also to advocate for teachers there need are help too.
Moms and dads, uncles and aunts, grandparents, cuzzins, from all walks of life.
Community involvement and awareness. Listen to parents and staff and find common ground to build on. Look at
A teacher knows how to make a child want to learn. We need the better understanding certain teachers know how to teach a child. Children like certain teachers they bond with and
If we fund the better programs it will fallow. If we train our teachers they well be on the battlefield and we will work on the issue. But if we make it they will come by.
We need to talk to our friends in Austin and see what’s the plan for us.

We need stop foolish spending.

Better transparency. And accountability. Among other things.
School safety is very important to me. My thoughts are to work with our parents, listen to our teachers and encourage our kids that learning is fun.
I will fight for more funding. We need to allocate more monies for better health screeners. Trained medical staff.
And more experienced doctors to treat these individuals.
Better parent engagement to help teachers with students at home. More time to listen and see our kids post Covid and better education training for teachers need to stay and update.

Foolish spending, good old boy kick backs to elected officials need to go.

We need to allow for anyone who want to bid and be a vendor has the same chance across the board.
1 teacher for every 6 to 10 kids. Kids who’s have everything they need to have the same chance to learn as another student.
I don’t like some things our school Dist did like mandates on masks, and taking shots. We need to better understand stand how to work together for a common goal. Covid was differently a learning experience for all.
But let’s be proactive instead of reactive.
Community town halls, speaking around the entire Dist. Listening to family issues.
As long as there is a chance to build communications we need to work together. We need to pay our teachers a better wage.
