David Adelman
David Adelman is a former Democratic member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 42 from 2002 until his resignation in March 2010. Adelman left the Senate after being appointed as Ambassador to Singapore.[1] He served as Senate Minority Whip from 2005 to 2010.
Biography
Adelman earned his B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1986, his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1989 and his M.P.A. from Georgia State University in 1995. His professional experience includes working as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, Partner for Sutherland Asbill and Brennan Limited Liability Partnership and Counsel for the Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
