David Boies

David Boies is an attorney who represented the two same-sex couples in California who filed a federal lawsuit to overturn California Proposition 8 (2008) on the grounds that it violated their rights under the U.S. Constitution.[1]

George Clooney played the part of David Boies in the Los Angeles reading of the play, "8."[2]
