David Boone is a resident of Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Boone earned his B.S. degree in mathematics from Winona State University, his M.Ed. degree from St. Mary's University of Minnesota and his M.A. degree in athletic and activity administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is employed as a mathematics teacher with Edina Public Schools.[1]

The election in Robbinsdale featured four at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Mark Bomchill and Patsy Green ran against challengers Andrea Bejarano-Robinson, David Boone, Michael J. Herring, Jeff Houle, Pamela Lindberg and Ron Stoffel for the seats. Fellow board members Linda Johnson and Tom Walsh did not file for re-election.

Funding
