David C. Boyd is a former member of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.[1] Boyd was appointed to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission by Gov. Tim Pawlenty on July 10, 2007, and was reappointed on December 18, 2008.[1] He served on the commission until his term ended on January 5, 2015.[2]

Boyd is a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Board of Directors.[1] Boyd served as vice chair of the International Confederation of Energy Regulators (ICER).[1]
