David Branstool

David Branstool is a judge on the Licking County Court of Common Pleas in Licking County, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Ted Strickland and assumed office on March 31, 2010.[1] Branstool was elected to the court in November 2010 to serve out the remainder of an unexpired term and was re-elected in November 2012 to a full six-year term, which ends on December 31, 2018.[2]

Branstool received his undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University in 1989 and his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1994.[3]

Branstool was re-elected to the Court of Common Pleas after running unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012.[5]

Branstool ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and defeated Robert Morris in the general election.[6]
