Biography
Education
Braxton received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Detroit Law School.[1]
Career
Before his election to the Wayne County Probate Court, Braxton served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. He also previously worked as an attorney in private practice.[1]

General: He defeated Rohn H. Mitchell in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 72.5 percent of the vote.

Braxton was one of three candidates competing for two seats on the 3rd Circuit Court in the general election on November 6, 2012. He was defeated in the election, winning 28.14 percent of the vote.[3][4]
