Biography
David Brignac was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He began serving in the U.S. Army in 1995. He earned a bachelor's degree from Troy University in 2010. His career experience includes working as an operations manager.[1]

|At the age of 18 David joined the Louisiana National Guard and later served on Army active duty. He currently is a U.S Army Reserve Soldier with a combined 27 years of service. He is a combat veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom having served in Afghanistan. David worked in various roles while deployed to Afghanistan from post quick reaction force, security patrols to working with U.S and NATO lead provincial reconstruction teams. Following his service in Afghanistan he collaborated with the U.S State Department and the office of Senator John Cornyn over the course of several years to facilitate proceedings for his Afghan interpreter and his family to obtain special immigrant visas.
While on assignment in the Republic of Korea he worked as the Brigade representative to The U.S.–South Korea Status of Forces Agreement. What he holds personally holds as his most significant achievement is being awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, for his work in orphanages.
He graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science from Troy University.
