A 20 year resident of Camp Hill Borough, David Buell lives with his wife Wendy in the Parkside/Appletree section of Camp Hill Borough. Wendy is a 1984 Bishop McDevitt graduate and Harrisburg City native. Wendy and David have a blended family of four children. David’s son Alex is a 2014 Camp Hill graduate and is in Management in the Telecommunications field, and his daughter Caroline will graduate from Camp Hill HS this coming year in the class of 2022. Wendy’s daughter Katryn is a 2015 graduate of Lower Dauphin HS and is an MSOT with a local hospital. Her son Zachary is a 2020 Graduate of Lower Dauphin HS and is entering the Air Force this spring. Wendy and David also have a 9 year old black Labrador named Maverick.
  • Advocating for the rights of parents in curriculum and school choice will be one of my first priorities.
  • I will also help continue the work that has been started in streamlining our state budget.
  • Dealing with the wide range of services needed in this newly drawn district will be complex. My personal knowledge of both East and West Shores and my professional experience makes me uniquely qualified to succeed in servicing the 103rd House District.
Appropriations, Education and Insurance
My mentor for personal and professional life would be my Father, fmr Representative Lawrence Buell (IN) He gave me my love of public service. He taught me by example to treat everyone with respect and listen to all onions. He treated all constituents equally, irrespective of party. He also worked with both parties to get things done which I will implement in my term in the House of Representatives.
