David Campos (California)
David Campos (Democratic Party) was a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in California, representing District 9. He assumed office in 2008. He left office in 2017.
Campos (Democratic Party) ran for election to the California State Assembly to represent District 17. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Campos also ran in a special election to the California State Assembly to represent District 17. He lost in the special general election on April 19, 2022.
Campos was a Democratic candidate for District 17 of the California State Assembly in 2014.
Biography
Campos was born in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. He is a graduate of Jefferson High School in Los Angeles, California. He earned a B.S. from Stanford University in 1993 and a J.D. from Harvard University in 1996. His professional experience includes working as a deputy city attorney for the City and County of San Francisco and as general counsel to the San Francisco Unified School District.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. David Campos (D) and David Chiu (D) defeated David Carlos Salaverry (R) in the blanket primary. Chiu defeated Campos in the general election.[2][3][4]
