Approach to the law
Clark was quoted in the Log Cabin Democrat:
| “ | I think the most important thing for a judge to remember is that he is here for two groups of people. He's here for the attorneys and he's here for the litigants. It's important that the court be accessible for these people to make their coming to court as small an inconvenience as it can possibly be. Coming to court's never convenient for anybody, regardless of what you're here for. If you're here for a divorce, a car wreck, probation, whatever you're doing, it's never a good time to come to court, as a general rule. So what I have tried to do during my term is make it less taxing on people's time.[6] | ” |
