David Clifft is the District 4, Position 1 member of the Jackson-Madison County Board of Education in Tennessee. He won the general election unopposed on August 7, 2014. He previously served on the board from 1990 to 2006. He did not run for re-election in 2006, but he later returned to the board in the general election on August 5, 2010.[1]

The general election in Jackson-Madison County featured five seats up for election on August 7, 2014. George F. Neely won re-election in District 1 against Dornell Chatman. Incumbent Dave Bratcher won against newcomer Jeff Wall in the District 5, Position 2 race. David Clifft and Bob Alvey both won unopposed for re-election to their seats in District 4, Positions 1 and 2, respectively. District 6, Position 2 incumbent Joe H. Mays also won his seat unopposed.
