David Cooper Taylor is a judge for the Gilpin County Court in Gilpin County, Colorado. He was appointed to the court by Governor John Hickenlooper on September 11, 2014, to replace Judge David R. Gloss. He assumed office on January 13, 2015. Taylor will serve an initial term of two years and then must run in the next retention election.[1][2]
Education
Taylor received his undergraduate degree from Mary Washington College in 2002 and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University in 2005.[1]
Career
Before he joined the Gilpin County Court, Taylor served as a staff attorney for the 5th Judicial District and as of counsel at the Law Office of Edward Shindel.[1]
