David E. Miller (Illinois)
David E. Miller (b. August 23, 1962) was a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives. He represented the 29th District from 2001 to 2011. Miller once served as Assistant Majority Leader.
Miller is a dentist and small business owner.
He is President of the Illinois State Dental Society Political Action Committee, Kenwood/Hyde Park Branch of the Chicago Dental Society, and the Lincoln Dental Society. Miller is also a member of the Growth Task Force.[1]

Elections
2010
Miller ran for the office of Comptroller in 2010 against former Illinois Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka. He defeated Raja Krishnamoorthi in the Democratic primary on February 2nd by about 8,000 votes. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Democrat David Miller won re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives District 29 receiving 38,031 votes, ahead of Republican James Buiter who received 5,631 votes.[2]

On November 7, 2006, Democrat David Miller won re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives District 29 receiving 22,544 votes ahead of Republican Raymond Tibbs who received 3,795 votes.[3]
