David Eisenbach ran in a special election for New York City Public Advocate. Eisenbach lost in the special general election on February 26, 2019.

Eisenbach was a Democratic candidate for New York City Public Advocate in New York. Eisenbach was defeated in the primary election on September 12, 2017.

Biography

Eisenbach earned his Ph.D. in American history from Columbia University. He teaches courses on the U.S. presidency and LGBT history at Columbia University. Eisenbach also teaches courses on William Shakespeare's plays at the Manhattan School of Music. He was the host of a History Channel show called "Ten Things You Don't Know About...".[1]
