David Ellis (Illinois)
David Ellis is a judge of the Illinois 1st District Appellate Court. He assumed office on December 1, 2014. His current term ends on December 4, 2034.
Ellis ran for re-election for judge of the Illinois 1st District Appellate Court. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
David Ellis received his undergraduate in finance from the University of Illinois Champaign, and his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.[1] Ellis previously worked as an attorney, best known for prosecution of Governor Rod Blagojevich in his 2009 Senate impeachment trial. He is also an author of legal thriller novels.[2][3]
