David F. Bauman

David F. Bauman is a judge on the Vicinage 9 Superior Court in New Jersey. He was nominated to this position by former Governor Jon Corzine (D) in 2008.[1] He was reappointed on May 18, 2015, by Governor Chris Christie (R). As a tenured judge, he may serve on the court until 2026, when he reaches the age of mandatory retirement.[2]
On December 10, 2012, Governor Chris Christie nominated Bauman to the New Jersey Supreme Court. [3] The Senate never held a confirmation hearing and Bauman's nomination expired in January 2014.[4]
Education
Bauman received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his J.D. degree from Boston College.[3]
Career
During his four years on active duty withe Marine Corps., Bauman served as defense counsel, prosecutor and special counsel at courts-martial. He then spent 17 years as an attorney with Bressler, Amery & Ross. For ten of those years, he was a partner of the firm. He was then appointed to the Superior Court in 2008.[3]
