David Weinstein (North Carolina)
David F. Weinstein (b. June 17, 1936) is a former Democratic member of the North Carolina State Senate. He represented District 13 from the time of his first election to the seat in 1996. Before joining the state senate, Weinstein was the Mayor of the City of Lumberton from 1987-1991.
Weinstein earned his B.S. from North Carolina State University in 1958.
Weinstein was in the Military Reserves from 1959 to 1965. He also worked in Retailing/Merchandise from 1959 to 1991. He has worked in Real Estate since 1994.

On November 4, 2008, Weinstein won re-election to the 13th District in the North Carolina State Senate. Weinstein had no challenger.[1]
