David Freeman was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Milpitas Unified Board of Education in California. He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014.

A computer engineer by trade, Freeman attended Milpitas schools from elementary through high school. He previously served as an elementary school PTA president for two years and treasurer for one year. He is a scoutmaster for a local boy scout troop.[1]

The election in Milpitas Unified featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.

Incumbents Danny Lau and William Foulk ran for re-election against the following six challengers: Russ Bargstadt, Vance Vuong, David Freeman, Demetress Morris, Robert Nunez and Chris Norwood. Lau won his bid for re-election, but Foulk came in fourth. Norwood and Nunez won election to the board.
