David Freundlich
David Freundlich is a former supervising judge for the Suffolk County Family Court in New York. He was appointed to this position in 1999. He joined the family court in 1989, following his election. He was re-elected in 1998 and 2008. He also served as an acting justice of the Suffolk County Supreme Court, beginning in 1999.[1]
Education
Freundlich attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and the University of Toledo School of Law.[1][2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, he served as a Chief Investigative Prosector and a Chief Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County and as an Assistant District Attorney of Kings County and Suffolk County. He joined the Family Court in 1989. A decade later, he became the Supervising Family Court Judge and an Acting Supreme Court Justice.[1]
