David Frizzell is a former Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 93. Frizzell assumed office in 1992 and resigned at the end of the 2019 legislative session.[1]

Following the 2014 elections, Frizzell was named as an Assistant Majority Floor Leader. He previously served as Majority Whip.

Biography

Frizzell's professional experience includes working as Director of External Affairs for Magnolia Health Systems, and Hoosier Enterprises Incorporated, President of the Third Millennium Foundation, Incorporated, Major Gift Officer of the Riley Children's Foundation, and Executive Director of Corporate Relations at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Elections for the Indiana House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Ryan Guillory was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Dave Frizzell was unopposed in the Republican primary. Frizzell defeated Guillory in the general election.[6][7]

Frizzell defeated Libertarian candidate Kent Raquet by a margin of 18,169 to 2,702 to win re-election.[10] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

In the May 4th primary, Frizzell ran unopposed and received 7,613 votes.[11]
