Elections for the Georgia House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014, with runoff elections taking place where necessary on July 22, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Michael D. Brown defeated David G. Hancock in the Republican primary and was initially unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4] Brown passed away in August 2014 and was replaced on the ballot by David Clark, who was unchallenged in the general election.[5]
