David Gatchell was a 2012 independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Tennessee. He was a 2010 Independent candidate for Governor of Tennessee.

Gatchell ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Tennessee. He was defeated by incumbent Bob Corker (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]
