Moreover, I will take additional steps to protect those with physical and mental disabilities and provide them with affordable, accessible technologies and treatments that will help them lead fulfilling lives. Campaign website
Gelb’s campaign website stated the following:

The issues -It is all about the issues. Workers rights and pay Reducing Health Care Costs and Improving Health Care Quality When it comes to prescription and coverage, I am committed to keeping costs low and making sure everyone has access to necessary resources such as medical, dental, vision, and hearing services. My belief is that by addressing health care deficiencies and fraud we can provide great health care to every Medicare and Private insurance patient, and will fight to ensure that everyone is able to receive the best care possible. I am also dedicated to increasing the number of healthcare practitioners by increasing the enrollment in Medical schools aimed at putting Doctors in rural and low-income areas, so everyone can have access to quality healthcare. I believe in the importance of wellness programs for all, regardless of age or background. Let’s work together in Ohio’s 8th District to promote an improved health care system that provides services for the entire well-being of all Americans. Social Security and Care Moreover, I will take additional steps to protect those with physical and mental disabilities and provide them with affordable, accessible technologies and treatments that will help them lead fulfilling lives. As an individual with two senior citizen parents to care for, I understand the vital importance of improving access to home- and community-based care for those with disabilities and for older Americans. Together, we can build a brighter, more inclusive future for all Ohioans, where everyone has access to the vital resources and support they need to thrive. Protection of Reproductive rights I believe that all persons should be able to live with dignity, security, and respect, regardless of who they are or who they love. We will ensure that our immigration policies account for the needs of refugees and asylum seekers, and that we use the full slate of human rights promotion and accountability tools to defend the universal rights of LGBTQ+ people. We will amplify the voices of LGBTQ+ persons around the world and counter violence and discrimination against LGBTQ+ persons wherever it appears. Common Sense gun control I strongly believe in universal background checks, as well as closing dangerous loopholes that currently allow stalkers, abusive partners, and some individuals convicted of assault or battery to buy and possess firearms. By taking these steps, we can work towards making gun violence a thing of the past and begin to create safer communities for all. The US Border In the words of Hebrews 6:10, “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Let’s prioritize extending compassion and support to those who need it most.[2] |
