I am David Joshua Gomez, I grew up in Nevada, graduating from Rancho High School, started my business here being a Notary Public. I am One of, if not the Youngest Candidate for County Commission in the history of Clark County. Through High School I was apart of the AFJROTC, in there I was able to volunteer at local events and places such as the Old Mormon Fort, Senior Homes and Centers for the Blind, I love Helping people which is why I am Running for Office. I gained experience working with my Father David Gomez II in the Clark County School District as he served as the CCSD Bridge Commissioner. I revere the great men who Founded our Country, I believe politicians have strayed far from the culture and values that this Great Nation was founded on, I want to bring that back, when Americans were not dependent on the system but rather independent from the system and not being burdened by an overwhelming system of Laws and Regulations.
  • Uniting the Community. In Nevada, Politicians are too worried about racial representation, while that is a good thing, I believe first and foremost it should American Representation, Americans Helping Americans. Our Community has suffered from a lost of Identity, it is my desire to bring that back, people helping each other not based of off race or political identification but based off the sole purpose of helping another American.
  • Lowering Taxes and Housing Costs, Nevada is suffering from a shortage of affordable housing, it is the duty of politicians to lessen the housing costs and taxes for Nevadans so that we all may prosper here.
  • Protecting Nature and Preserve our Water. Our planet and our State is beautiful in its own way, it shouldn’t be polluted with chemicals and waste, I believe in protecting our Natural Environment. And Preserving our water through water reclamation and working with other Western States that own Lake Mead Water Rights to ensure Lake Mead lasts for Generations to come.
I am Passionate about people, helping them; seniors, Children, Disabled Persons, Americans and Nevadans. As a Christian there is nothing that brings me more joy than Helping people, through lessening burdens such as Inflation, improving Infrastructure, protecting children, improving quality of life and ensuring their rights are respected and protected. As well as I am passionate about Protecting nature, protecting our nature ultimately protects Humans for we are effected by that which we affect.
The Founding Fathers, they worked tirelessly, throwing themselves into Debt and persecution to ensure freedom for themselves and their fellow Countrymen. As well as my Father David Gomez II, he inspired me to pursue a career in public Service. And Greatest of All, God and Christ.
The representation of their constituents. Not solely acting off of what they themselves believe is the best course of action but having council from the Voters and making an informed and educated decision that is the desire of those that it affects.
Willing to take criticism and willing to work with anyone, because essentially Public Officials are the servants of the Public. If there is anything I can do to help people even if that means every once in a while I myself have to leave an office to help an elderly person mow their lawn because they face penalties from code enforcement and cant afford it then Ill be there.
A legacy that protects peoples rights, and protects the American Culture of valor, strength, knowledge and liberty. Uniting Americans regardless of Political affiliation because as Americans there is more that unites us than that which separates us.
Working at Little Caesars, I worked there for 1 Year
I believe that being a taxpayer entitles you to understand and know how your money is being used, i believe in a very transparent financial government for every dollar that is spent it should be public information except that which jeopardizes classified information.
