David S. Gorbaty was a justice on the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal. He took office on January of 2001.[1]
Education
Judge Gorbaty received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. He went on to receive his J.D. degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU in 1973. He is a member of the American Judges Association, serving on the Public Information/Relations Committee as Co-Chair in 2006, and the Louisiana State Bar Association.[2][1][3]
Career
Judge Gorbaty began his judicial career on the 34th Judicial District Court in St. Bernard Parish.[3]
