David Green (Illinois)
David Green was a 2014 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 13th Congressional District of Illinois.[1] Green was defeated by Ann Callis in the Democratic primary on March 18, 2014.[2]
Green is a social policy analyst at the University of Illinois' Center for Prevention Research and Development.[3]

Illinois' 13th Congressional District was a battleground district in 2014 due to the small margin of victory in the last congressional and presidential election in the district. Incumbent Rodney Davis defeated Michael Firsching and Erika Harold in the Republican primary. In the Democratic primary, Ann Callis triumphed over George Gollin and David Green. Davis and Callis faced each other in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2][4]
