David Harrington, Maryland Senator
David Harrington was a Democratic member of the Maryland State Senate, representing District 47 from February 2008 to January 12, 2011.
Harrington served as Mayor of Bladensburg, Maryland from 1995 to 2002. He then served as a County Council Member for Prince George's County from 2002 to 2008. He joined the Maryland State Senate in 2008 and has served in that position since. He represents the 47th District.
Harrington is a Senior Fellow/Faculty Member for the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership at the University of Maryland.
Harrington received his B.A. in political science from Howard University.
