David Hastings
David Hastings is a former Republican member of the Maine State Senate, representing District 13 from 2004 to 2012.
In addition to being a Senator, Hastings is a licensed Attorney. He has worked at his general practice, Hastings Law Office, for over 29 years.
Hastings is a graduate of Fryeburg Academy and Bowdoin College. He earned his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law.

Hastings won re-election to the 13th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Laura Ordway ran for the seat on the Democratic ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
