David Hirsch is an Orthodox Rabbi and well known Queens advocate for religious freedoms and education choice. A graduate of Queens College, David has worked in community outreach and public policy as a independent consultant and is a member of the Coalition for Jewish Values. He has consulted for many Republican campaigns as well as organizations such as Teach Coalition, where he has helped to promote school choice and protect parent rights in education. He has over a decade of working with political campaigns and over a decade of volunteer work with community organizations. Since 2019 David has been an elected member of the Queens County GOP County Committee.

David knows we have to make our community safe. He will back our police, fight against hate crimes, and pursue tough on crime policies. David is concerned about the large encampments of undocumented migrants being placed in and near our neighborhoods without community input or consent. And David knows watering down our schools education and ignoring parental input and concerns is wrong. David also pledges to fight against the new regulations and proposed implementation that will harm private schools, that many parents choose as an option for their children. David stands for Safe Neighborhoods, Religious Rights, Parental Choice, and Education Standards; driven by our own community.
  • I want to crack down on crime and repeat offenders, fix New York's bail system, improve community safety, fully support and fund our police, and create stronger hate crime laws.
  • I want to protect the Special and Gifted programs in the Public Schools, and keep SHSAT. I want to fix the mess that is Special Needs education where parents can wait up to 8 months for services, we need to provide for our special needs children. And protect Yeshivas and Private Schools from government overreach, and protect Parental Rights in Education.
  • Stop the placement of undocumented migrants in our neighborhoods. Locally communities must have a say if migrant camps are placed in the neighborhoods, the right to veto it, and if they accept, a voice in how its implemented. The people must have a say in what happens in their community.
I am very passionate about Crime and Education. I have worked as a consultant in education policy, and have been an advocate for education reform for years. This is an issue I am very passionate about and have a great depth of knowledge on, especially with special needs education, school choice, and education spending. I am passionate about protecting the Special and Gifted programs, to ensure the brightest kids can achieve their best. I also want to ensure the SHSAT remains in place, to ensure fair placement. I also want to help fix the massive waste in public schools to ensure every dollar is better spent on the students, and improve education in the worst performing districts.

I am also passionate making our neighborhoods safer. I want to see more police and patrols on the street to reduce crime, to put more public lighting to make walking at night safer, and to fix the legislation from Albany that have led to a rise in crime in our state. Business owners should not live in fear, as I hear from many I talk to. People should feel safe walking around at night. We need to fix this, and I see the issues first hand, and I am very passionate about it.
