David Hooste

David Hooste is an Oneida County magistrate judge in Idaho's Sixth Judicial District. He joined the court on July 1, 2015, after his appointment in May to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David L. Evans. His term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Hooste received a bachelor's degree from Utah State University in 1997 and a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2000.[1]
Career
At the time of his judicial appointment, Hooste was an associate attorney at EchoHawk Law. He was the chief deputy prosecuting attorney in Bingham County from 2005 to 2010, and an associate attorney at the law firm of Shetterly, Irick, Shetterly and Ozias from 2001 to 2003.[1]
