David Humke was a judge of the Second Judicial District Court in Nevada from 2015 to 2019.[1] He was elected on November 4, 2014. Humke resigned effective January 31, 2019, after having been suspended twice in 2018.[2] Click here for more information on his resignation.

Humke's resignation, effective January 31, 2019, was part of an agreement with the state Commission on Judicial Discipline in which Humke admitted to violating the state judicial code of conduct, failing to manage his caseload properly, and mishandling cases. He was barred from holding judicial office in Nevada.[3][4]

General: He defeated John P. Springgate in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 50.5 percent of the vote. [1]
