Magnarelli ran for election to the Geddes Town Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 5, 2013, after receiving 19.8 percent of the vote. Incumbent Judge Daniel F. Mathews, III, incumbent Judge John D. Kinsella, and David L. Reed were also on the ballot, competing for two open seats.
