Biography
David Jaramillo served in the United States Marine Corps from August 1, 2005, to August 5, 2013. He received an undergraduate degree in 2018 after attending Mclennan Community College and Tarleton State University. Jaramillo's professional experience includes serving in the United States Marine Corps and working for the Department of Veteran Affairs.[1]

- I resigned from my career at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs because I was deeply concerned by the fact that I saw veterans repeatedly denied the services they are owed. In Congress, I will focus on making sure the V.A. has the resources to provide veterans with the services they deserve.
- The United States has some of the highest healthcare costs in the developed world. No family should have to file for bankruptcy due to a medical emergency. When I am elected to congress, I will vote in favor of Medicaid expansion.
- I believe we need common sense gun control measures in order to protect our communities, especially our children and schools. This would involve the implementation of background checks and the ban of assault weapon sales.
I believe in being an individual voice that isn't bought and sold by their party.
