David K. Bartley (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 5th Hampden District. He lost in the Democratic primary on September 1, 2020.
Bartley was a 2013 Democratic candidate for 2nd Hampden and Hampshire District of the Massachusetts State Senate.[1]

Bartley ran in the special election for Massachusetts State Senate 2nd Hampden and Hampshire District. The seat was vacant following Michael Knapik's (R) resignation to become the executive director of advancement at Westfield State University. Bartley defeated Michael A. Tautznik in the October 8 Democratic primary and was defeated by Donald F. Humason, Jr. (R) in the special election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[2][3][1][4][5][6][7]
