Biography

Education

Kaufman received both his undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Kansas.[1]

Career

Prior to his election to the court in 2002, Kaufman worked as an assistant district attorney in the Eighteenth Judicial District and as an assistant public defender for the Sedgwick County Public Defender Office.[2]
