David Kessler
David Kessler was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 130 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
He is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 130 from 2007 to 2010.
Biography
Kessler earned his B.S. in Marketing and Business from York College in 1979. His professional experience includes his work as owner/operator of Tri-State Funding.
Kessler served on the Oley Township Planning Commission from 1991 to 2006. He also served as Oley Township Supervisor from 1993 to 2006. In 2007, Kessler joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He served in that position until 2010, representing the 130th District.

Elections
2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent David Maloney defeated Andrew Basile in the Republican primary, while Russell Diesinger was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Diesinger withdrew from the race on July 15, 2014, and was replaced by David Kessler. Maloney defeated Kessler in the general election.[1][2][3]

2010
Kessler lost his bid for re-election to the 130th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition but lost to Republican David Maloney in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[4]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Kessler won re-election to the 130th District seat of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He received 18,479 votes, defeating Republican Richard Gokey (14,344).[5]
