David Kissinger
David Kissinger was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 46 of the Ohio House of Representatives.
Kissinger graduated in 2001 from Vincennes University with an associate degree. He went on to earn an AAS in Nursing from Monroe County Community College in 2003 and his MICC Certification in Project Management from Medsphere University in 2009. Kissinger is employed as the Regional Vice President of maxIT Healthcare.[1]
Campaign themes
In an electronic communication with Ballotpedia, Kissinger outlined his campaign themes:
- Kickstarting the Economy: "Dave Kissinger will support job growth by voting against useless government regulations and against tax hikes. And, he’ll work with local business leaders to market our community to entrepreneurs and new businesses."
- Healing Health: "Dave Kissinger will support healthcare by voting for policies that improve quality outcomes for our families and seniors. And, he’ll work to protect your healthcare freedoms, as well as improve access to quality care."
- School Improvement: "Dave Kissinger will support education by voting for policies that expand your family’s educational opportunities. And, he’ll work to provide targeted incentives to attract more quality teachers in addition to providing necessary funding."

2012
Kissinger ran in the 2012 election for Ohio House, District 46. Kissinger was unopposed in the March 6 Republican primary election and was defeated by District 49 incumbent Matt Szollosi (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4][5]

Dave and his wife, Tallie have 4 children: Carter, Quinten, Charlie, and Ruby. They live in Maumee, Ohio.
Kissinger and his wife are missionary members at CedarCreek Church, now attending the new South Toledo campus. He has actively served at CedarCreek Church in volunteer and leadership roles for over 10 years. Kissinger is a founding member of the Information Technology Advisory Board at Cherry Street Mission Ministries. He also serves as Chairman of the Public Relations Committee for the Central and Southern Ohio Chapter of HIMSS. Kissinger has been a prior member of the Executive Committee for the Lucas County Republican Party, prior member of the Lucas County Republican Party Central Committee, and prior Chairman of the Maumee Republican Club (http://www.maumeerepublicanclub.org/).[6]
