David L. Hanson

David L. Hanson ran for judge on the Tenth Judicial District Seat 3 in Minnesota in 2010. Counties included in the Tenth Judicial District are Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright.

2010 election

Hanson was one of twenty-four candidates running for the seat. He was defeated in the general election.[1]

Education

Hanson received his undergraduate degree from Bemidji State University and his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. While at St. Thomas, Hanson was a founding member of the St. Thomas Journal of Law and Public Policy.[2]

Career

Hanson formerly performed with the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra. After clerking for Legal Aid in Minnesota, Hanson served as Assistant County Attorney in Clearwater County. At the time of his candidacy, Hanson was working in private practice.[2]
