David Ladenburg was a candidate for the Position 17 seat on the Pierce County Superior Court in Washington. He was defeated in the primary election on August 2, 2016.

Ladenburg earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Washington State University. He did not attend law school, opting to study independently before passing the state bar exam in 1991. Ladenburg was an attorney with Harrison, Ladenburg, Schwartz from 1994 to 2002. He was a judge for the Tacoma Municipal Court from 2003 to 2016, and served as a presiding judge as of June 13, 2016.[1]
