David Lawrence Faulkner ran for judge on the Circuit 10 court in Alabama in 2012.

2012 election

Faulkner defeated Kenneth L. Cleveland in the Republican primary on March 13, winning 74.02 percent of the vote. He was defeated by Don Blankenship in general election on November 6, receiving 46.35 percent of the vote.[1][2][3]

General election

In October, the Birmingham Bar Association compiled results of its Judicial Primary Qualifications Poll. 687 members of the association participated in the poll, though all members did not participate in each evaluation. Below are the candidate's results.[4]

  • Not Qualified: 2%
  • Unknown: 33%

Primary election

Education

Faulkner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1990 and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1994.[6]

Career

Faulker has been a partner with the firm Christian & Small, LLP since 2000. He also serves a General Counsel for the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce.[6]
