David Loughry was a judge for the Rutherford County General Sessions Court in Rutherford County, Tennessee.[1] Loughry was defeated in his bid for re-election to the court on August 7, 2014, and left office on August 31, 2014.[2][3]

General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 47.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Barry Tidwell. [2][4][3]

Education

Loughry received both his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1973.[5]
