David M. Horwitz
David M. Horwitz was an assigned judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California.[1] He retired from his full judicial position on July 18, 2008, after which he began participating in the Assigned Judges Program.[2] The program assigns retired judges temporary jurisdiction in the event of vacancies or high case loads in the courts.[3]
Education
Horwitz earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, going on to receive his J.D. from the University of California School of Law at Los Angeles. He was admitted to the bar in 1968.[4]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Horwitz worked as a city prosecutor.[5]
