Parrott was first elected in 2002, and was re-elected in 2008.[1] Parrott was re-elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for another six-year term.[2]

Parrott received a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from the University of Michigan in 1982, and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1985.[3][4]
