Campaign website

Main's campaign website stated the following:

Basic Freedoms

We are in a fight for our basic and most inherent freedoms. The Biden administration has let us down too many ways to count and we need a Republican wave to sweep the Congress and Senate in 2022, and hopefully the Presidency in 2024.

I will go to Congress to fight against the Biden agenda and fight for our Nation and our Region. I have fought as a soldier and I have fought for patients as an ER doctor, I know how to fight and vow to take this fight to Washington DC.

We Must Act Now!

We must fight for our freedoms, protect our children and their education, improve and advocate for our incredible Motherlode environment, advocate for our health!

COVID 19 Crisis

The Biden administration has FAILED to protect our health. Biden told us he would “stop the virus” and under his watch Covid has exploded. As a physician I never wanted this pandemic to be used by either political party. The democratic party has used the pandemic to bully our citizens into shutting down our schools, our businesses and our medical choices. I believe the vaccine has value to fight the pandemic, but I don’t believe it is the only solution. Children should not be forced to wear masks that don’t work. No one should be forced to be vaccinated, and most of all no one should be shunned if they are not vaccinated. Operation Warp Speed was a success, but we have other modalities outside of vaccines. We should be making available all options including antiviral oral medications once proven effective, as well as monoclonal antibodies. Our children should NOT be forced to be vaccinated! We need a healthcare system that protects our vulnerable citizens, promotes health and well-being, and allows our population to make sound individual choices for their own prosperity and longevity!

University Funding

Our children across the nation are being exposed to the radical agenda that starts as early as Kindergarten. I’ll go to Congress to expose this at every opportunity.

Much of this needs to start at the local level with parents advocating for their children. Leaders in Congress need to step up as well.

We should not be giving federal funds to any college that endorses critical race theory or any idea that teaches our growing minds that they are inherently racist or inherently inferior based on their race.

Early education needs to focus on the basics, teaching our children how to think not what to think.

Our Environment

Our environment is in trouble. I’m not a global warming alarmist but I do strongly advocate for our environment and believe that we need to explore better technologies to reduce emissions and technologies that capture emissions. These technologies can be fostered in California.

Growing up in NorCal we had forest fires, that is not new. Mega fires year after year is not normal, we all know this. Democratic leaders have mismanaged our forests for far too long. California used to be a timber leader, but the timber industry has been totally decimated by their policies. This has led to a stockpile of flammable timber that explodes almost every year. This cannot be accepted as the new normal.

We need better Federal Forest management. We need a better federal response to our fires to fight them early before they devour our precious resources. Watching millions of acres of forest go up in flames every year diminishes our forests power to capture carbon as well as contributes carbon dioxide and water vapor to our atmosphere. This cycle must end.[2]
