David Martin (New Mexico)
David Martin is a former New Mexico secretary of energy, minerals and natural resources. He was appointed to the position by New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez on April 15, 2013, to replace the retiring John Bemis. He retired on July 15, 2017.[1][2]
Biography
An engineer by trade, Martin's energy industry experience includes serving as a policy coordinator between New Mexico and the U.S. Department of Energy and as the cabinet secretary at the New Mexico Environment Department. He previously worked as an adjunct associate professor at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.[1]
