David McBride
David McBride (Democratic Party) was a member of the Delaware State Senate, representing District 13. He assumed office in 1981. He left office on November 3, 2020.
McBride (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Delaware State Senate to represent District 13. He lost in the Democratic primary on September 15, 2020.
McBride served as state Senate president pro tempore from 2017 to 2020 and as Senate majority leader from 2012 to 2016.
McBride served in the Delaware House of Representatives from 1978 to 1980.
Biography
David McBride was born on June 23, 1942. McBride obtained his B.S. and M.S. from the Civil Engineering School at the University of Delaware. McBride works as a civil engineer.
In November 2015, McBride was diagnosed with colon cancer.[1]
