David McDevitt
David McDevitt (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Washington's 3rd Congressional District. He lost in the primary on August 7, 2018.
McDevitt was a 2016 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Washington.[1] McDevitt was defeated in the top-two primary on August 2, 2016.[2]
Biography
McDevitt received his B.S. in marketing and information systems from San Francisco State University in 1983, his MBA in finance and management from San Francisco State University in 1987, and his J.D. from John F. Kennedy University in 2009. He is a member of the California Bar Association and has worked as a lawyer since 2013. McDevitt served in the U.S. Army from 1975-1981.[3]

“ | My father passed away shortly after I turned eleven years old. Subsequently, I was greatly influenced by a mentor, associated with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, that had been involved with Common Cause.
Though life was not easy, I always looked out for the challenged by participating and volunteering as a Big Brother, volunteering in AIDS fundraising, and other charitable organizations.
